AI-Assisted Development and Taskworx
IdeaPoint's development team has been fully AI-assisted since late 2025. Their technical leaders also lead Quadshift's AI Enablement practice, setting the tooling and standards the rest of the portfolio adopts. The everyday stack is AI-assisted coding primarily with Claude Code and Codex, backed by a company-wide telemetry server that tracks AI usage, cost and project attribution.
The result is a fundamentally different cost structure for building software. In one concentrated session a single developer rebuilt an ERP multi-store management module in 12 hours that would have taken roughly 12 weeks the traditional way, eliminating more than 1,000 hours of organizational overhead and 36 meetings, closer to 40x on that project. Across the full body of work the gains are uneven by design. The real bottleneck is no longer coding speed. It is deciding what to build.
This AI-enabled team then turned their best idea into a product. Taskworx is an AI-native project and task platform where business users submit feedback with screenshots and annotations, tickets generate automatically, and an AI "virtual PM" scores each request: simple ones execute without a human in the loop, complex ones route for review. A single "copy the whole sprint to Claude" run cleared roughly 100 change requests in a week. Taskworx now carries an embedded vector database of the entire codebase for cross-project answers. Quadshift is standardizing its own internal apps on it and rolling out across the companies in 2026.
